To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $50,000 from the Salary & Wage Stabilization Fund to establish a Police Detail Revolving Fund in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 44, Section 53C.

 

This provision was agreed to between the City and the Somerville Police Superior Officers Association and is codified in the most recent collective bargaining agreement
