To the Honorable Board:

I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, a transfer in the amount of four hundred ninety thousand, three hundred thirty three dollars ($490,333.00) from the Salary Contingency Account to various Personal Services Accounts in Police Department for the purpose of funding salary and contractual item adjustments for members of the Somerville Police Superior Officers Association as provided for in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Somerville and the Somerville Police Superior Officers Association for the period July 1, 2009- June 30, 2012 .

The transfer funds retroactive adjustments for the period July 1, 2009 -September 10, 2011 and prospective adjustments from September 11, 2011 - June 30, 2012.
