To the Honorable City Council:

The City Clerk respectfully conveys to this Council the attached memo regarding item 23-0076, amending the Code of Ordinances by adding a new section regarding Closed Captioning Accessibility, which was recommended for approval at the Legislative Matters Committee meeting of October 3, 2023. Said memo details operational concerns and suggests changes to the ordinance to account for these. A redlined version of the proposed ordinance addressing these concerns is also attached.
