To the Honorable Board of Aldermen:

The City of Somerville has been awarded funding in the amount of $150,000 from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security and the State 911 Regional and Regional Secondary Public Safety Answering Point and Emergency Communications Center Development Grant Program.  These funds will be used to conduct a feasibility study for a Regional Emergency Communications Center.
