To the Honorable Board:
Agenda Item 205184
That the Director of Traffic and Parking consider adding painted street lane arrows and signage at the intersection of Holland Street and Broadway to improve safety.
Traffic and Parking will review the above intersection to determine if additional pavement markings are appropriate.
Agenda Item 205187
That the Director of Traffic and Parking re-stripe the crosswalk on Lowell Street at Princeton Street near the bridge.
The crosswalk across Lowell Street at Princeton Street will be “repainted” this current pavement marking season.
Agenda Item 205193
That the Director of Traffic and Parking explain whether it is possible to program alternative LED patterns for blinking STOP signs and other traffic signs.
The current blinking traffic signs cannot be programmed for alternative LED patterns.
Agenda Item 205197
That the Director of Traffic and Parking Place a NO PARKING sign between 161 and 165 Broadway, between the bus stop and the metered spot, to increase vehicle visibility.
Traffic and Parking will review 161 - 165 Broadway to determine if a No Parking sign is appropriate. If it is appropriate a No Parking sign will be installed.
Agenda Item 205249
That the Director of Traffic and Parking install a NO RIGHT TURN 7-10 AM AND 4-6 PM sign facing west on the corner of Church and Summer Streets.
The City’s Traffic Commission has the jurisdiction to either approve or deny turning prohibitions. The Board Item will be forwarded to the City’s Traffic Commission.
