To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request an appropriation of $200,000 from Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the Law Department, Legal Services Account to fund the hire of outside legal counsel to assist the City in several outstanding cases. Your Honorable Board has previously authorized the retention of outside legal counsel in conformance with Section 2-121 of the Code of Ordinances. This new request provides the funding for the previously approved action.
