To the Honorable City Council:
Per the Community Preservation Committee’s recommendation, the Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the amendment of the FY25 Community Preservation Act (CPA) grant of $365,000 awarded to the Somerville Community Land Trust (SCLT) for renovation of the Elijah Walker House located at 12 Pleasant Ave to amend the conditions applied to the grant with no additional request of funds.
In place of the condition described in the original FY25 CPA grant award that the SCLT grant a permanent Preservation Restriction to the City, the grant would be subject to long-term protection provisions within the Grant Agreement. The revised recommendation is attached.
