To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request an appropriation of $17,000 from the Parks Stabilization Fund for structural repairs to the Chuckie Harris Park Slide Equipment. The intent of the appropriation is to redesign and rebuild the slide at Chuckie Harris Park using high-durability materials for the new bed and structural reinforcement behind the bed to handle heavy usage in the Park.

The budget for the project is as follows:  GV Landscape Design Services -$2,550;  Stiffeners for fixing the play house-$1,036: Structural Design -$4,010; Construction and installation -$9,404.
