Requesting the appointment of Alan Bingham as a Member of the Historic Preservation Commission.

To the Honorable Board:

I hereby appoint, subject to your Honorable Board's confirmation, Mr. Alan Bingham, LHD resident, to the Historic Preservation Commission for the term through May 15, 2023.

Mr. Bingham has been serving as an alternate member of the commission for many years, (and was recently selected by the Commission to serve as their Chair).  Recently, Ms.  Abby Freedman has left her position on the Commission, effective June of 2018. Therefore, I am appointing Mr. Bingham to the open full member position. 

This item supersedes items 204660, (Mr. Bingham's reappointment as an alternate), and 204658 (the reappointment of Ms. Freedman which is now no longer relevant), both of which are currently pending in the Committee on Confirmation of Appointments.
