To the Honorable City Council:

I hereby convey that at the  May 19^th the Memorialization Committee meeting the Committee unanimously approved to name the new park located at 31 Tufts Street, Leonard Grimes Park, in honor of noted abolitionist, underground Railroad conductor and former East Somerville resident, Rev Leonard Grimes 1815-1873.
