To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request an appropriation of $500,000 from Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the Community Preservation Act Fund.  Under M.G.L. Chapter 44B, Section 7, appropriations may be made from other municipal funding sources, such as free cash, to supplement and carry out community preservation projects.

My staff will be available to address any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
