To the Honorable City Council:

 

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept and approve expending a grant of $122,627 from Mass General Brigham/CHA to the Health and Human Services Department -SomerPromise, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for, in partnership with Riverside Community Care, provide early childhood care and education systems with the behavioral health support necessary to best serve BIPOC/ immigrant /low-income families. Funds will support consultants and program implementation.
