To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request an appropriation of $4,331 from the Salary Contingency to Police Department, Personal Services, Crossing Guards Account (0121051-511003) to fund the Memorandum of Agreement Between the City of Somerville and SEIU/Local 888, Crossing Guard Unit. The Agreement covers the period FY2021-FY2023.  The appropriation funds new salary rates for the period Feb 13, 2022 through June 15, 2022.

Additional appropriations will be submitted to fund the retroactive portions of the Agreement.
