To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a grant of $23,040.00 from the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, 2025 Emergency Management Performance Grant to the Emergency Management Division, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant requires some level of matching funds from the city.
The purpose of this grant is to pay for a Emergency Management Software Platform. The match for this grant is an in-kind match, which is a portion of the Director's salary.
Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
