To the Honorable Board:

Per the Community Preservation Committee’s recommendation on March 4, 2015, I respectfully request that your Honorable Board appropriate $200,000 for the Capital Projects and Planning Department to contract a consultant to prepare a design for the rehabilitation of City Hall to include the restoration of exterior building elements, upgrade of mechanical systems, and upgrade of life safety and handicapped accessibility. The appropriation will be allocated to the Historic Resources CPA category and funded $11,292 from the Historic Resources Reserve and $188,708 from Undesignated CPA Fund Balance.
