To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully submits for this Council’s consideration and ordainment of an amendment to Sections 1.1.4, 2.1.1, 3.1.18, 3.2.17, 4.1.15, 4.2.15, 4.3.15, 4.4.16, 5.1.17, 6.1.13, 6.2.15, 6.3.13, 6.4.16, 7.2.9, 7.3.9, 8.2.4.c, 9.2.3, 9.2.6, 11.2.4, 11.2.5, 11.2.6, 11.3, 12.1.7, 15.2.1, and Table 9.1.1 of the Somerville Zoning Ordinance to repeal minimum parking requirements, remove associated minimum parking requirement exemptions and other regulations, simplify parking tables, reformat and standardize all parking ratios, revise parking maximums, repeal the off-site accessory parking principal use, clarify the commercial parking facility principal use, and codify typical permit conditions for the provision of parking spaces to ADUs.
