To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $147,724.07 from the COVID-19 (Fund #7138) Stabilization Fund for the operational cost of the 2026 Warming Center. The City has been awarded funds from the state to operate the Warming Center for 14 weeks from January 4, 2026 to April 12, 2026. The requested funds will allow the city to extend operations for 5 additional weeks, from December 1, 2025 to January 4, 2025.
