To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council convene in Executive Session with the City Attorney pursuant to G. L. c. 30A, Section 21(a)(3) to discuss the potential settlement of a claim against a former employee. Discussion in the open session of the council meeting may have a detrimental effect on the City of Somerville's negotiating position and litigation strategy.
Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
