To the Honorable Board:

I emailed Matt McLaughlin early to tell him that I supported his proposal to limit parking residential parking passes for developments that do not provide sufficient parking. He suggested that I could submit a public testimony to voice my support.

I feel it is a great idea to limit on street parking permits for developments that do not provide enough parking per zoning codes and I commend Matt McLaughlin for bringing it to committee. I agree the developers should not be able to request relief by claiming they are public/walking/cyclist friendly developments and off load the burden of parking to the surrounding neighborhood. On street parking on residential street is already hard and will only get worse if developers are not held accountable to provide the required amount of off-street parking.

Thanks,

Matt Griesbach
