To the Honorable Board:

I hereby convey the policy that was jointly developed by 311, the Police Department, and the Inspectional Services Department to address citizen complaints about issues that would be handled by the Inspectional Services Department if the complaint arrived during ISD's normal business hours. As you will see, the response is tailored to the nature of the complaint.
