To the Honorable Board:

I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, an appropriation in the amount of $138,000 and authorization for the City Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor to borrow $138,000 to meet said appropriation.

The funding will be for design services related to water main upgrades on Powderhouse Blvd and Properzi Way. Borrowing will be through MWRA Local Water Assistance Program and will be supplemented at a later date with a construction funding request through MWRA.  

To meet said appropriation, the Treasurer will be authorized to borrow $138,000 as provided by M.G.L. Chapter 44.
