To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept and approve expending a grant of $3,000 from Somerville Housing Authority to the Arts Council, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for expenses associated with the Arts Council's Mystic Mural project.
