To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept and approve expending a grant of $74,400.00 from Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to the Police department], under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for overtime cost, to ensure Public Safety as part of the Mass Municipal Police Staffing Grant.
