That the Commissioner of Public Works and the Chief Fire Engineer, report to this Board on the city’s safety plan for dealing with gas leaks, as recently reported and detailed on the attached map, and explain why utility companies are not required to repair Level 3 leaks even though environmentalists say they still pose a major threat.
