To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request an appropriation of $120,000 from the Capital Projects Stabilization Fund to fund the purchase of a Zamboni Machine Model 552 for the Veterans Memorial Skating Rink.

With the completion of Rink 2, an additional Zamboni will be needed to resurface and maintain ice for Rink 1. The current Zamboni will be used to resurface Rink 2. With both Zambonis in operation, this will assure that ice will be maintained on a timely manner in both Rinks.
