To the Honorable Board of Aldermen:

Pursuant to Somerville Code of Ordinances, SCO 9-14, I respectfully request your approval of the granting of a permit to Tufts University to conduct a carnival during the weekend of April 30 - May 2, 2010.  Tuftonia Day Carnival and fireworks display will take place on the evening of Friday, April 30th with a rain date of Sunday, May 2nd.

I have already received a promise of indemnification from the University, holding the City harmless from any possible liability.
