To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council confirm the appointment of Rio Hunter Black to the Climate Action Commission.
This appointee will fill a vacant seat with a term expiring on December 31, 2026. This appointee will fill the seat designated for a youth member between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, pursuant to Section 2-305(a) of the Code of Ordinances.
A personal statement, redacted for public review, is attached.
