To the Honorable Board:

Please accept my attached letter, where I respectfully request BOA support for grass fields at Lincoln Park and beyond, and ask the BOA to oppose the installation of a synthetic turf field, as currently planned there. 

My attached letter to the BOA includes:

                     Tables comparing Cost Estimates and other characteristics of grass and synthetic turf

                     Some ideas for keeping the little grass that Somerville has, and for limited uses for synthetic turf

                     Some notes on my personal experiences.
