To the Honorable Board of Aldermen:

On Tuesday, June 1^st, members of the Planning Board and BOA Land Use Committee held a public hearing on amendments to the Somerville Zoning Ordinance to bring the Floodplain Overlay District into compliance with FEMA requirements. Attached please find a copy of the original report submitted on May 13^th and the formal recommendation from the Planning Board together with the amended ordinance for your review and consideration.

Staff will be at the meeting to respond to any questions you may have.
