Requesting authorization to establish a Consolidated Gift Account for the Library Teen Services programming.

To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board vote to authorize the establishment of the Library Teen Services Consolidated Gift Account under the provisions of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 44, Section 53A.

This account will be the accounting entity that accepts gifts and donations to support the programming of the Teen Services of the Libraries. 

Additionally, the Library has received a donation in the amount of $5,000 from Marty Kahn for teen services programming.  I request that you accept this donation into the Consolidated Gift Account for Library Teen Services.
