Request to Appropriate and Authorization to Borrow $336,000 to Renovate the Building at 42 Cross Street for the Purpose of Relocating the School Administrative Offices

To the Honorable Board of Aldermen:

I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, an appropriation in the amount of $336,000, and authorization for the City Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor to borrow $336,000 to meet said appropriation for the purpose of the design, renovation, and equipping of the building at 42 Cross Street to be used for the relocation of the School Department Central Administrative offices.

To meet said appropriation, the Treasurer will be authorized to borrow $336,000 as provided by M.G.L. Chapter 44.
