Requesting approval to transfer $11,000 in the Health and Human Services Department, from its Personal Services Account to its Professional and Technical Services Account, to pay for summer school contracted nursing services.

To the Honorable Board:

The Health & Human Services Department was required to provide additional unanticipated school nursing service for the Community School Summer Program due to the special health needs of students.  To meet this requirement an outside contract with a nursing agency was needed. I request approval to transfer funds from Personal Services - temporary to Professional & Technical Services in the amount of $11,000 to cover the cost of contracted nursing services.
