To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board accept a grant of $900.00 from MA Council on Aging to the Somerville Council on Aging, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant requires a one-to-one match of funds from the city, which will be provided by the Council on Aging's Donations Account. The purpose of this grant is to pay for exercise equipment for elders.

My staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank your for your consideration of this item.
