Official Text

That the Director of Inspectional Services, the City Solicitor, and the Mayor appear before this Council to explain to Councilors and the public why a residential development project at 21 Cherry Street was deemed to be essential and granted a temporary Certificate of Occupancy despite a history of multiple documented violations of the building code (occurring both before and during the citywide COVID-related emergency cease of construction period), resulting in many stop work orders, as well as many existing well-documented and built physical violations of the conditions in the zoning permit granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
