That this Board of Aldermen hereby requests that the Administration work with the Ward 2 Alderman to formulate, coordinate and schedule a community forum for the residents of Ward 2 to discuss, address and analyze recent and unusual flooding issues in significant portions of the ward, including the Lincoln Park area, Dane Street, Dane Avenue, Park Street (at Beacon and Sacramento Streets), the Ivaloo and Harrison Street areas and the Public Safety building, including investigation of state agency responsibilities, impact from neighboring cities and towns, the effects of recent developments and building projects on storm water drain off, historical and topographic factors and the effects of lack of policies and ordinances related to impervious surfaces on private property.
