To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a grant of $3,600,000 from MassWorks Infrastructure Program to the Department of Infrastructure & Asset Management, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. Additional funds totaling $260,836.35 have already been appropriated by this Council from the GLX Developer Contribution Fund Account (71274).

 

The purpose of this grant is to pay for initial design and owner's project representative services for the Inner Belt & Brickbottom Pedestrian Crossing located at 100 Chestnut.
