To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the appropriation of $171,922 from the Salary Contingency Salaries Account [0199951-511000] to the below listed  Fire Department - Personal Services and Human Resources - Special Items Accounts, for the purpose of funding an retrospective portion of a collective bargaining agreement between the City and the Firefighters Association of Somerville, Local 76 Union. This appropriation funds FY27 earnings through September 12, 2026.
