That the Mayor and the Chief of Police discuss with this Council why there is so little traffic enforcement conducted by the Somerville Police Department, why the SPD Traffic Division has so few officers in it, why so few moving violations are issued, and what is the SPD’s plan to address the public safety crisis made obvious by the fourth pedestrian killed by a motor vehicle on our streets in the past two years.
