To the Honorable Board:
Per the Community Preservation Committee’s recommendation on March 23, 2016, I respectfully request that your Honorable Board appropriate $150,000 for the Planning and Zoning Division of the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development to create a Local Historic District Property Owner Preservation Fund that will support the preservation, rehabilitation and restoration of historic resources. The appropriation will be allocated to the Historic Resources CPA category and funded from Undesignated CPA Fund Balance. Details of this request are available in the attached funding recommendation from the CPC.
