To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept Mass. General Laws, Chapter 64G, Section 3D(a) to authorize the City to impose a community impact fee in the amount of 3% upon transfers of occupancy for “Professionally-managed units” as defined by Section 1 of G.L. c. 64G. I have attached a copy of the relevant sections for your information.
Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
