To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept a gift of 200 soccer balls with an approximate value of $5,000.00 from the United States Conference of Mayors as a part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Soccer Balls Initiative. This request is made in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 53A1/2 of the Massachusetts General Laws.
Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.
