To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the appropriation of $2,400,000 from the Receipts Reserved for Appropriation, Parking Meter Receipts Account, for the purpose of reducing the FY2026 Tax Rate.
This appropriation is required for the FY2026 Tax Recapitulation Sheet Filing to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for approval of the FY2026 Tax Rate.
Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
