To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the appropriation of $719,817 from the Salary & Wage Stabilization Fund [7112] to various departmental Personal Services Accounts listed in the attached table to fund the retrospective portion of a collective bargaining settlement with the Somerville Municipal Employees Union, Unit D.
This represents payments to employees for hours worked in FY23, FY24, FY25, and FY26 through February 15th, 2026.
Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
