To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve a contract time extension for Contract #230058 with the University of Massachusetts for research and implementation services on the Guaranteed Basic Income Pilot by 15 months and an increase of $68,227.63. The new expiration date will be 3/31/2026. This will allow us to support a comprehensive research and evaluation protocol after having made changes to the Guaranteed Basic Income Pilot timeline.
