To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your honorable Board approve a tax agreement with Sunwealth for the solar system to be installed on the roof of 1 Maxwells Green.  The Board of Assessors reviewed and approved this agreement on April 20, 2018.  This 232 kilowatt system will be selling all of its generation to the City in the form of net-metering credits through an agreement that this Board approved on December 14, 2017. Legislative body approval for the valuation and taxation of electric generating property agreements is required under the provisions of  MGL, Chapter 59 Section 38H. My staff is available to answer any questions you may have. Thank your for your consideration of this item.
