To the Honorable Council:
I respectfully request that your Honorable Council accept a grant of $40,000.00 from EOPSS to the Police Department, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for traffic enforcement Mobilization Program: Winter impaired Driving, Distracted Driving, Click It or Ticket and Summer Impaired Driving Programs.
My staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank your for your consideration of this item.
