Be it hereby known to all that the

Somerville City Council and Mayor

Offer their sincerest commendations to

Gale Morano

Who is retiring after 41 years as Executive Director of

the Open Center for Children. Since 1972,

the Somerville-based Center has provided

outstanding early education and child care services

to children aged 27 months to 5 years.

The Councilors and Mayor offer their gratitude

for her dedication to the lives of children,

and extend their best wishes for a happy retirement.
