Be it hereby known to all that the Somerville Board of
Aldermen and the Mayor offer their commendations to

Tony Pierantozzi

As he retires after ten years of dedicated service as Superintendent of Schools. Under Tony’s skillful leadership, Somerville has consistently become one of the Top Performing Urban Districts in the Commonwealth. A strong advocate for the physical, intellectual, and emotional health of our students, Tony has also been a consistent supporter of music and arts programming. Under his leadership, Somerville has emerged as a leader in efforts to educate the Whole Child.

The Aldermen and the Mayor extend their sincere
best wishes for good health and a fulfilling retirement.
