Requesting an appropriation and authorization to borrow $4,400,000 in a bond for construction services as part of the MWRA Marginal Interceptor Sewer Rehabilitation.

To the Honorable City Council:

I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, an appropriation in the amount of $4,400,000.00, and authorization for the City Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor to borrow $4,400,000.00 to meet said appropriation.

The funding will be for construction phase services related to the MWRA sewer rehabilitation of the Marginal Interceptor. To meet said appropriation, the Treasurer will be authorized to borrow $4,400,000.00 as provided by M.G.L. Chapter 44.
