To the Honorable Board:

I would respectfully like to declare a 1989 fire pumper as surplus equipment.  The Lance Model pumper was manufactured by Pierce Manufacturing.  It has 83197 road miles.  It is no longer needed by the fire department.  It is in such condition that it will be available for salvage but is no longer road worthy.
